Hey all

looking at what i can buy for my new toy already and quite like the look of the supra with stock spats, like the picture below. just wondered if they will fit on my car as i have the rear side lights which look to me like they are where the spats would cover.

A picture i stole from a member.... cheers Adam:p

And my car .....as you can see the rear side lights look like they will get in the way.

Anyone fitted them but kept the side lights too?

I believe you cut the spats to fit the side light. I'm sure a facelift Supra owner will be along to give a more accurate answer.

Cheers mate ive had a lok for a picture with them fitted to a facelift model but cant find much info.

Stick with the stock body mate. I looked for ages for genuine oem facelift skirts and spats and they nearly never come up. Replica fibreglass ones are rubbish and a poor fit from the reviews I've read. Looking at my car the other day I realised that I probably wouldn't have fitted them anyway.

Long story short- STOCK BODY FTW! you've got yourself a mint supra, doesn't need anything in my opinion, so just enjoy it

All my plans are to fit genuine spats if I can find some even if I have to cut the slots out.... Which sounds a definate now, S2000 style ariel and a active splitter and that's it, still all stock looking so win win.

Another question then, genuine spats? How much do they usually sell for? Facelift or non facelift.
