:( has anybody bought anything from suprastore in america before.

I bought a titan motorsports dvd a month ago and it never arrived so I e-mailed them got one reply saying I needed more information for the order which I gave them in the following e-mail.They took the money from my pay pal account and I have since e-mailed several times them to which they have just ignored me,not pleasing.

Has anybody else had problems with them ,and what can I do to get my money back or the dvd

thanks richie:thumbs:

you should talk to supraguy. he had nothing but problems with them.

I guess warning someone against one of the shittiest US Supra parts stores qualifies me of being "a tosser"? Yea, I loved ordering parts through Titan over the phone.

Me> "You guys stock the SAFC-II"?

TitanCS> "Yes, they are ready for delivery"

*I place order along with a couple Gs worth of other items*

Partial Shipment arrives at my Florida address. I phone them up and they tell me they are out of stock on half my order and its on backorder. Over the course of the next month, parts slowly trickle to the doorstep in Florida.

Me>"Where is that SAFCII you told me was ready to ship?"

TitanCS>"Sorry its on backorder, but we can ship immediately the SAFC-I"

Me>"Uh.. gee... no thanks"

Nearly 3 MONTHS later, my AFCII shows up on my door in London.

There are hundreds of customers with similar and much worse cases. Some people waiting for half a year of delivery of parts that were paid up front, etc.

So, call me a tosser but I am looking out for the members of the BBS to pray they dont have to go through what I did. If Titan claims they have it, I can nearly guaruntee Dusty@ MVP will stock it.

i bought supras invade las vegas on my credit card came ok but the fookers charged me £50 in total for a $29.95 dvd

wrote a few emails asking why it was so much. never got a reply so they can go fcuk themselves. keep well away from them.

i have done lots of backups of that dvd too

you better off trying mvp they have a great reputation.

if you have good dealings with places you go back and buy more items. suprastore are a waste of time.

lots of them american stores websites have the same sort of look to them.

dont some of them run 2 stores in the same building

Try him again - I know he is very busy at the moment but he has never not replied to my e mails, alternatively post a question in the mvp section.

I have just ordered some more stuff

As everyone speaks so highly of Dusty/MVP I'll put the non- reply down to my query getting lost cyber-space:thumbs:

mmmmm I remember other companies that were reccomended and some spoke highly of....then I got totally shafted....take good advice.....from 'good' people that 'You know' thats no desrespect to anyone on here..at the end of the day if you dont like the sound of the bloke on the end of the phone...thats userally the best way....I wished I'd gone on my own instincts, which I would of done if I hadn't been ill informed by people who turned out to be in on the action so to speak.

I like this thread I hope these people go bankrupt, and same to anyone else who rips us off!

We all know who you are are...we all talk to each other....duuuuhhh they are soooo stupid it makes me laugh.

The same has happened to me on a number of occasions. Everyone has their own expectations from a company and sometimes different people are treated differently.

I don't recommend anyone without be 110% sure that they'll see them alright because otherwise I'd feel a right w*nker if they weren't happy. I'm also more than happy to tell people when I'm not happy detailing exactly why. It's one thing to be slanderous; it's another to state the facts. Of course there's always two sides to a story....

:(

I'm another one that got (partially) shafted by Suprastore. This was before i was aware of the multitude of excellent supra specialists in the UK. Ordered an EL dash kit (which i was assured was compatible with RHD cars), eventually turns up - LHD

Could use 2 of the 3 supplied dials, but never even got a single reply to the 5 emails i wrote to them afterward...TOSSERS.

Just thank God for the likes of Envy, Miami GT, TDI etc etc etc.

Well i think i qualify to comment.

Over a year ago i ordered hks pistons for my dissasembled engine - they were on the shelf - however after one month they did not arrive, answer we have not got them in stock after several phone calls.

Supplied next morning by Grasshopper.

Bought a fuel kit with injectors for a J Spec.

We all know that J Specs run with high impedance injectors.

They sold me low impedance, could not get my car to run and after spending approx 800 J on petrol and mapping found injectors were wrong, which incidentally led eventually to another rebuild due to bore wash.

Bought an aem ems and had to fit a jumper myself and upgrade the software as it was such an old version.

Bought a custom map which apparently would have blown my engine and left me with no gearbox for 3 months due to the auto transmission settings had been played with.

I have had no problems with Horse Power Freaks though.

After a very very costly experience i think i can honestly say i will

not buy owt else from them.

Think im in agreement with all you say above apart from the last paragraph.

Ive just fell foul to what now turns out to be the worst job on a car that ive ever had done.

Not only was the quality of the work v poor but now having stripped my car of all the parts fitted im amazed they actually stayed on the car during my 200 mile drive home, in reflection and now knowing just exactly how much work ive had to do to put this mess right wish i'd simply not payed them another penny and i'll see you in court..

I wont get caught again by COWBOYS on here who claim to be something there obviously not.

If your spending your hard earned cash with companies or individuals on here or elsewhere check them out as best you can and if your not 100% happy dont use them.

Who was it?

You may not go back but other people will who don't know better, unless they know the facts.

I must have been really lucky with Suprastore/Titan....

I ordered a set of 19" Racing Harts from them and they arrived via air shipment 4-5 days later. Paid by cc and all was fine.

Like I say maybe I was just lucky but it does show everyone has a different view on things....

To be honest I had many more issues with traders in this country than I did with them but who knows...:baa:
