For 245 and 275s - probably £600-650 for the rubber - Goodyear F1s.

Gaz,

Do you know if these clear a big brake kit (Brembo) ?

10.5" wide, do you need to touch the arches at all ?

Thanks

Well, I dunno if they clear all big brakes, but I would imagine so if they clear the UK's.

The arches will be fine unless you run a mental tyre on them!

:(

I know guys, we ordered a set as we just had to get a set in.

I am pretty sure they are made in the same factory as the Racing Harts, due to the welding etc, very similar.

I think we'll order up another set so you'll have an opportunity to grab them Christmas/New Year time should you have any money left!!!

Best Regards,

Gaz.

Are they actually chromed Gaz or are they highly polished ally finish?

Can you tell me whether they are lacquered or clear powder coated and also I'd like to know what the offset is please. How do they "sit" on the Supra, are they pretty much flush with the arches, I think there's nothing worse than a decent wheel tucked well back inside the arches, any ideas?

Will a 285 35 tyre fit ok with no rubbing issues on a 1" lowered car? Are there any pics around of these on a Supra?

Thank you

Dan

They are chromed Dan.

I'd imagine they are lacquered, they won't be power coated as they can't be chrome then. They offsets are in the office, don't have them right now. They fit pretty much flush yes.

Theres some pics on the board posted by Kun Ho who's the only person to have these fitted to a MKIV that Im aware of.

Cheers for the reply Gaz.

I'll try to have a search for pics under that name.... I meant powder coated after chroming (clear). I have a feeling I editted that post as you were replying as there's a question there about tyre size as well now too. When you get chance, the offsets would be good - i see from one pic the rear is 44mm :)

I got hold of Kunwho, they look pretty sweet.

Any luck with the offests and the actual protective coating (if any) these have Gaz?

Will a 285 tyre fit ok on a car lowered maybe 20-25mm?

Dan,

I assumed you didn't want them Dan because of the price.

I will check the sizes tommorow when I am back in the office :)

I never said I wasn't interested Gaz, hence the posts and email.

I'd appreciate that size and offset info as well as your opinion on the 285 tyre question. Are we looking at about 6 weeks for these?

Gaz,

Any update on when mine will arrive?

Speaking to Jake about tyre sizes for these, they're 9" front, 10.5" rear. I was thinking 245 up front and 275 at the rear. The 275 are easier to get and cheaper than 285.

Does anyone have an opinion on these, should I be getting wider rear tyres?

Thanks,

dandan

pm received Gaz, thanks.

I was just wondering, if we don't know offsets and things like what size tyres we can fit until we order then how do we decide what to order? Not being funny but I wanted to plug some sizes and offsets through the wheel/tyre spreadsheet and see how much clearance I had to my coilovers and how close I get to needing arch trimming with different tyre sizes.

No-one seems to be able to comment on whether a 285 tyre will fit or how much clearance we'd have if the car is lowered. That's why I wanted the offsets to work out what I need.

I'd also go for the 245/275 combo.

I'll get an update from the guys soom Alastair, the company is currently at the TAS 2005 so hard to get hold of at present.
