will big brakes work with my offset?

my front wheels are 19" 9.5j and im sure the offset is ET38.

So my question is: will the K-SPORT or D2 357mm big brake kit fit behind my 2 front wheels or will i need spacers?

Here are some quick snaps, I'm not too sure if you can tell by these pictures.

Hard to say, looks tight.

Try and find a member with uk brakes you can try your wheels over, if the uk's clear then the k-sports should.

If you speak to Paul Whiffin he has a template that you can use to check if the K-Sports will fit behind there.

ah rite, hmmmmmmm i have 4 mates close by but non with uk brakes lol

ill measure the gap from the closest point from the wheel to the caliper and post that up and hopfully someone might know.

if not i might take the risk lol

From my personal experience, the K-Sport 8 pot caliper (w/ 330mm discs) only required 12mm of extra space to clear the wheel compared to the standard J-Spec 2 pot.

ok the closest point looks is 36mm just under 1-1/2" :/

Get a template from paul emailed to you mate. The wheel you have look very tight for room!.

I was also amazed on how little extra clearance they require compared to the 2pot J-spec brakes. Even got me another pair of wheels with a lower offset just to be sure lol

No need for that... The TD Pro Race 1.3 wheels with ET45 by cleared them by a mile.

You could get a template just to be sure though ... I didn't but i was lucky

If they didn't fit wouldn't it just be a case of wheel spacers?

I'll check to see if my wheel fits over jhons first then if I decide to go with the k-sports then I'll email him
