listy Posted April 23, 2012 Share Posted April 23, 2012 (edited) Today, parked outside spar next to a white van, and went in to get some cigarettes. Came out, the white van was gone, and I have a nice scuff on my rear bumper, white paint surrounding it. Also, the impact has dislodged the part of my BLENDED trial rear which meets the rear arch. On top of these two annoying damages, somehow, he must have caught the exhaust at the same time, which has now dislodged itself, where I believe it is meant to be attached to the down pipe! All this less than 3 weeks before JapFest. Needless to say, I AM NOT A HAPPY BUNNY right now. Is there anyone out there who can help me out? I'm not asking for it to be free help, but I'm looking at a full respray, as it is currently a custom colour and I have no idea of the mix/colour code, re-attachment of the exhaust, and for the trial rear to be re-blended. Ideally, I want all this done by JapFest. I am near to Bristol if anyone can point me in the direction of a good body shop, spray guy etc to get this done. Because the cameras only cover the delivery entrance, and the front of the shop, the very small parking area has no coverage. That was the first thing I did when I saw it, was go into the shop, and ask if they could get a plate off the footage but the manager said its no covered @ Craig - Cheers dude, desperate to get this sorted by JapFest. When you say FULL respray, is that an engine out, engine bay spray, door shuts, the works? Or literally just the outside? Wouldnt have been AS bothered if the person had waited 5 minutes and got insurance details to cover the cost. Hopefully I can sort the exhaust out in the morning too, and get the car down to paint in the afternoon. Looking at the pics of the car, I'm back to ummming and arrrring over black or white!!??
