AndyTT Posted September 23, 2004 Share Posted September 23, 2004 Was up at Dastek today with my Soarer for a power run, and got quite a surprise:blink: My car is running 14psi (standard 10psi) only dyno'd @ 260 bhp @ the flywheel (standard 280 bhp approx) I was reading 10.7 on his wide-band which he said was away too rich and killing the power:cool: My m8 Big Andy aka Bedlam had an even biggar surprise awaiting him:eek: Last year he dyno'd @ 420 bhp @ the flywheel, but was experiencing some det @ 20psi boost, so for safety he fitted a walbro fuel pump, 440cc injectors and a FMI. It dyno'd @ 280bhp:devil: Why? When the Apexi SFAC was adjusted because of to much fuelling, the ignition timing would advance so much it started pinging:( His air/fuel ratio went of the scale @ 9.1 So what a day:cool: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
