Dash Remove and Replace - Easy Job?

Hello chaps..

I am considering changing the dash on my car, mine has the infamous bow in the centre.

I have come across a clean looking 2nd hand one, I have the ffg questions;

1. I read through the heater matrix thread, it seems doable as a DIY, any other tips?

2. Any issues with swapping over the IP wire harness, eg clips to buy etc?

3. The dash is from an SZ, the interiors are identical from my knowledge, correct?

4. Opinions on the dash below?

Thanks in advance.

Just take your time and if you follow the heater matrix thread i would think youd be fine.

I have the same problem but can't find a dash in good enough condition to replace it with and

a new one is around £800

Your replacement looks in good condition

Wish they were only £500 here, i probably buy a new one then and bite the bullet.

Good luck with swapping yours

I had some mobile phone bracket holes filled in on a dash a few years ago by a mobile

interior guy and you couldn't tell when he'd finished, cant recall what his company was

called though but might be worth a quick google for dash repairs etc

You didn't do it did you? Was this your car once?

I'm going to get the wife to make me a polished 316 stainless plate to mount my phone holder to cover it but utilise the holes already there.

Lyndon.

No mate, promise it was not me.. Only owned 1 supra in my life, the one I have!
