A tent. Seriously.

How would that help, parts corrode, oxidise by simply being in the air, also what happens

when your driving the car ?

Any decent grease that wont get removed when driving should be okay, a very thin

wipe over with copper slip perhaps

From a previous thread. Copper grease on the threads and Tesco value tent cut into pieces and wrapped around them :)

I was thinking of a grease but then thought about road crap sticking to it!

But what josh is saying makes sense! I may grease them and get some motorbike rear shock socks and fit them over the threaded part.. Thanks guys :)

This may be of help to you; http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?262757-Refurbished-my-HKS-coilovers!&highlight=tent

Or send a PM to Westy to see how he did it :)
