- at approx 1:39 when the acceleration starts, i notice the HUGE air compression sound from the supra, i have noticed this with a couple that i have watched on youtube...and only ever heard from a supra, could someone enlighten me on what makes this wonderful noise?(turbo i am guessing? if so what type!?)

second question...on other videos there seems to be a 'spiraling' noise when the gear is changed...what is that!??

thanks people!

(p.s i do not intend on promoting illegal road racing from the above clip...it was the best one for sound purposes)

Sounds like external wastegate noise to me. Compressor surge between gear shifts may cause that `spiral` noise you refer to, though I can't actually hear any turbo noise due to camera being outside the car during the filming.

the 'spiral noise' is more of a 'turkey' noise (the animal)
