I know there isn't much point in trying to "tune" an N/A, but there are benefits to be had, albeit small ones.

I've now fully decatted my exhaust with Whifbitz 1st + 2nd decat pipes (I strongly advise anyone else to think twice before doing this as it does make the car LOUD). I already had a Kakimoto Racing stainless cat-back system fitted, which has been re-welded as it had cracked on a weld.

I've also fitted a custom cold air intake. I'm probably not the first to do it this way, but i'm pretty proud of my efforts:

It was a bit of a pig to fit around the AC pipes, and it is tight to say the least, but it avoids fouling the fan.

Up next, lightweight pulleys and new fan belt!

Open to the elements...

Did the NA not have a Cold Air Fed Stock Airbox?

From small inlets under the headlight and under the bonnet opening between the headlights.

I will be fitting a shroud in the near future to stop any major water ingress. That, or i'll be fitting an enclosed BMC CDA style air filter.

Good going with the mods, but I can't think of a worse place for the air filter tbh. The stock airbox is good for silly hp in the TT so will easily be overkill on an NA. Also the extra pipework and bends will do nothing to aid airflow. I do like your work though so its all good :)
