HKS Hi Power Silent Or Garage Whifbitz Titanium Exhaust?

Yeah it's fully BPU but our current exhaust is only 2.5inch so its restricting the power at the top end. So looking for a 3inch to free the extra horses ;) Is it possible to have a 4" on a bpu?

I looked into it before, and you'd obviously need a RR on there, so I'm not sure if that would affect the sound enough to not bother fitting a 4" in the first place.

See if you can persuade him to go single ;)

It's currently at Whifbitz having a full engine rebuild - I'd love for my dad to go single but as always its about the money and its not cheap when you have to start adding the turbo, manifold, ecu etc etc. Back on topic the current exhaust has a 1.2 rr on it already just wondered if you could go 4"

So it's at Whifbitz currently... tell him to have a word with Paul and see if a deal can be struck :)

I would but my dads on holiday - Im hoping he's going single but keeping it a secret lol. How much is it to go single including all the mapping etc? Ive heard around 10k is unheard off.

On a budget it's under, but a reasonable/good setup extremely cutdown price

Manifold + turbo kit - £4.5k

Fuelling - £1k

ECU & wiring £1800

Mapping - £500

Other bits (ignition, exhaust, downpipe/midpipe, hoses, fittings, contingency money) £1-2k

Labour £2k+

Many have done it cheaper, many have done it a lil bit more expensive. It's not something to do on a whim!

This turbo kit looks nice - does that come with everything you need to go single?

Not really no, this is the first item in the list I put in post 21. I have that kit bar a different turbo.

You then need the rest of the bits in my list, and more.

If you want a good idea of what's needed to go single and how many people have done it I would advice spending a few hours reading through the Project Cars subforum here

There are many others, but these'll give you an overview. A few are self built like Ibrar's and Scott's.
