Had some guy from sheffield come to look at the skyline today and he fell in love instantly, feel abit gutted to see it go but im sure ill get over it. had her since 8/10/2008 till the present day and spent a absolute fortune on her. all good things have to come to a end though (for a short time).

gonna be looking for a supra now i think, if ive worked out right i should have a budget of just over 8K:)

so will be on here prowling the classified section.

Cheers mate I'm trying to find as much about supra's as I can, just alot of difference from a supra to a skyline.

I don't think I've seen yours in the classified section mate?

Do you a link?

My only skyline experience was a brief drive in a R32 GT-S 4-door, the steering I admit felt very surreal and it had shagpile carpet :)

If as a person new to these cars and looking to buy can I recommend a few threads to read from the tech section?

There's many more, but at least these will give you a feel for things.

If you're after 400bhp odd you can just go for BPU cars. Single ownership I would say is more complex, but then I don't know what you did to the R33 to get it to 450bhp :)

No problem chap.

Well it's ovno, not offers over that price :)

Either way good luck in your hunt. Take your time. Don't dismiss the auto without a ride or a drive in one. Glad to see from the skyline you're not afraid of having/running a modified motor!

Stick around. This place is quite nice once you get used to it

Cheers mate , from the links you put up for me it seems like the manual box isn't the best box to have , crunchy and clunky, guess it depends if it's been looked after or had the right lubricant in it. Ideally I wanna drive both boxes but with years of driving a manual box it's just what I sway to really.

Got a few supra's lined up to have a nosey around ( members on here) do that will give me a better idea of the cars.

I didn't put exhaust or filter due to them normally having them already fitted.

Bit dodgy on using standard head gasket.
