Hi all, ive just finished installing my front components and rear co-axials. I have a little problem though...on the front 6.5 mids, im not happy with the way the door card sits in comparison to the SRD bracket. Theres a massive gap at the top...what can i do about this? This gap also means that i cant align the grill ontop of the midbass either :(

You have installed the brackets correctly, they will not line up with the door card perfectly as the original speakers were 4" ones and lined up to only the meshed part of the original speaker cover. You shouldn't have cut out the speaker cover off the door card..

Thankfully i still have my original doorcards...so i do still have the toyota speaker grills. The amount of problems with aftermarket speakers!!! the focal grills wont fit in there...i have some mdf rings that i can mount the speaker onto, dont think that will do the trick as it will just push it outwards and not in any other direction
