hi again all,

My new toy has had plates fitted by the dealer & the rear looks bloody awful  Common problem I think, but I can't find a solution without making something myself, the plate is narrower than the cutout in the bumper & leaves 2 gaping slits to the sides

any ideas please peeps ???

BTW -- I assume a slightly smaller front plate is illegal, don't like the front one much either :baa:

thanks lads & lassies :D

i don't think the stainless plate will look brill on a white car & certainly don't want HKS & BLITZ logo's on a pathetic puddle jumping non turbo :D :D :D

thanks all for the quickie replies ;)

i think it looks quite good on a white supe

Well, i couldn't wait for a new plate to arrive, so decided to have a go myself today ..

4mm clear perspex, backed with white vinyl, plate fixed on & then some little bits of vinyl trim. Not perfect but better than the awful holes & jigsawed to fit number plate (had to plane that to get a straight(ish) edge :(
