Hey Guys,

Big hello from the land of Australia. I'm actually a MKIII owner and plan on doing a 2JZ conversion sometime later down the track.

But for now I will have to make do with the 2.5litres that the 1JZ has given me.

Haven't had a good look around but wasn't sure if I should post details of my car here or on a members ride thread somewhere else in the forum.

In any case, I hope the troll these forums and see what methods and techniques you guys tend to use or prefer and make a comparison to what's common here in the land of Oz.

Cheers,

Benjamin

and what is wrong with the 1jz?? :O, i have one in my mkiv.

revvier engines mate ;)

tuning is also just as easy, if your planning 1100bhp, 2jz...

but i have seen some 1jz put down some serious power ;).

nothing wrong with the 1jz, just that there ain't no replacement for displacement.

other option is the 1.5 jz as someone else mentioned.

just depends on what turbos i end up getting or which conversion is more fking around

yeah where is this kit? been searching I fnid 2jz ones that stroke it to 3.2 and 3.4

3.2 1jz sounds impossible without a 2jz bottom end

oh and lol $7000-10000 for a stroker kit.. so not worth it

2j bottom end would be able to get me enough power and torque

nice spoilerless jza70, is she an -R? ive also a mkiiii 2jz single turbo...my fav model. check out mkiiisupra.net as well while your at it.

Think the biggest stroker for the 1jz is 2.8, easier using a 3.0 bottom end tbh.

nah she's not, it was actually an ADM MA70 n/a and I did the 1JZ conversion few years back.

yeah I hope to dump a 2jz in there one day or go 1.5JZ

really? a 3 litre bottom end and it's only 2.8?

1jz is a 2.5 bottom end, i was saying it was easier to go with a 2jz 3.0 bottom end that trying to source a 2.8 stroker :)

Mines is a UK ma70 but with 2jzgte. actually rolled it out of storage yesterday
