Yep, that's the stuff in mine.

Don't know how good it is but if your mechanic buys it for you and money is no object then I'll trust that.

It will only be in the car for 3K miles before it gets changed again anyway.

I used the HKS JZ-G 10w-50.

It is supposed to be specially designed for the JZ series engines, but I doubt there is anything special about it, I bought it because it was on special.

Previously I used Mobil 1 10W-30, the HKS made the engine alot quieter compared to the new Mobil 1...

Just use 10w40 recomended for turbo petrol engines from Halfords 5L £23.99

or their 5w40 fully syn 5L £36.99, you'll also get an 8pc screwdriver set for free.

I'm curious as to why a halfords £37 5w40 full synth is better than fuchs 5w40 fully synth at £22?

I'm not looking to start a heated debate on oil as its been done to death and it is still a personal preference but what does the halfords one do that the fuchs one doesn't for £15 more?

i do use halfords oil fully syn but still change it after about 6,000

also when people say they cant fault a oil and its really good how can you tell the differance between a 5-40 fully syn un branded and a 5-40 fully syn top brand ?

i have put semi before and i cant tell the difference between semi to fully what am i ment to be looking out for? surely only time will tell say like over 100,000 miles
