Getting closer...

Well, last weekend I sold my JZA70 so now well on the way to acquiring my JZA80 :) I'm planning to start looking properly around the end of next month (at which point the LS400 will have effectively paid for itself via LPG savings so can go on eBay for whatever it makes) im getting excited now :) Hopefully I won't go insane in the meantime as I have been running the LS400 as my only car for 4 days now and im already fed up, While accelerating up a sliproad the other day I almost ended up shouting at it to move like I do to my mums Skoda Fabia lol.

I did have a point, oh yeah, I figured some people may find these amusing, here is a short collection of some of the "comments" I got from prospective buyers for my JZA70 in either emails, on the phone or in person:

"This is like a million times better than the rusty UK ones you see for like £500, would you take £1200 for it?"

"Toyota never made a 1JZ!"

"Those don't have just over 300bhp they have 276!, EVERY Japanese car made in the 90's has 276!"

"Fancy a trade for a Vectra GSi?"

"So apart from the interior, the engine, the gearbox, the diff, the fan, the rear lights, the suspension and the dashboard, what exactly makes this so much better than the UKDM one?"

:p
