I've have quite a few good comments about my dash so thought Id post how I done it.

I don't go into alot of detail but it's quite simple really.

Standard:

Cut a piece of mdf to size and used ready mixed fibre glass on the back to hold in place then to cover the plastic covers on the front

Then make sure it fits

Then cover the whole front in fiber glass

Sand all high spots using 120grt then put a light skin of body filler over the whole area then sand down to a smooth finish starting with 240grt and finishing with 1200grt wet and dry paper.

Once your happy use high build primer and leave it over night to harden the go over the whole dash with 1500 wet and dry.

Mark up gauge holes and use a 52mm hole cutter in a drill to cut holes out but take it slow as you don't want to crack the filler.image

Then paint color of your choice

Sorry for any bad spelling :)
