Samurai 20V
Hi guys. I need to replace the 02 Sensor connector on the engine harness. The locking pins that keep the terminals in place are broken, so the terminals are moving out of place. I picked these part numbers of the thread on here. Can these be order from Toyota? Previously I tried ordering the clamps for the Coil pack wires, these were not available, I hope these are? If I cannot get these parts, what is the best way to repair it? 90980-11028 - Lamda Connector 82998-12440 - Terminal Edited February 13, 2012 by Samurai 20V (see edit history)
Pudsey
Hi there buddy, I know its crude, but can you not use a small 'zip tie' to hold the plugs together? I am assuming that you are reffering to the plug not clicking together tightly, and it keeps coming apart with my recommendation above. Hope the new one solves your problem!! I was fitting the new one today, its the engine harness thats the issue, the terminals are loose because the housing clips are broken.. Both the housings itself clip together, but the terminal on the engine side slides back because its not locked into the housing. Did not put the new one on and risk any damage to the pins, have to fix the engine harness side first.. Thanks for the tip.
