Is this real carbon skin dave, and what soet of price say fro the fuse box cover, many thanks

 

Just a FYI, as real CF is electrically conductive, you wouldnt really want it near anything electrical on the off chance it makes contact (i.e. battery/fuse covers).

 

I cant see CF looking skins/dips having the same issues assuming they are not using materials that are electrically conductive.

ive had a go in the past myself

i dont think its easy it takes practice to get it right , i used a hairdryer

isnt the stuff you use 3m dave?

because im sure you can get a 3m clear for over the top

 

no mate its not 3m and its not vinyl its a fabric ,is the 3m stuff a vinyl that you can bend with heat ???

yeah thats right mate i used a hairdryer

its quite stiff and when you put the heat on it it goes really soft

this is the stuff ive tried using before and some parts are terrible to do and looked tatty because of creases lol

takes alot of practice i guess

that links just to show the stuff i wouldnt buy from that link because i dont know what the quality of the vinyl is like

the stuff i used was from ebay and it wasnt too good
