quick question - v band downpipe

I got a greddy t4 manifold and getting a precision 6266 turbo. Where can i get a downpipe that would fit? or do i need to get a custom made one? I seen a few for sale but i aint sure if its a different length downpipe depending on what turbo.

I think most people would just buy a vband downpipe to match the exhaust of the turbo and then adapt it as required (if necessary). Making one from scratch would be costly, adapting one would be a lot cheaper. You might even get lucky and find that the downpipe is actually OK.

Did greddy ever do a full kit for the MKiv? I'm guessing that the DP to match the manifold would be what you are looking for.

If you have decent welding skills it pretty cheap to make one. Just buy a flange and start welding

PHR do a downpipe and mid pipe kit, these are designed around the HKS manifold so may need some adjustment if used with the GReddy manifold.

Yes they still do the T78 and T88 kits for the Supra.

thank you guys, I guess the t78 downpipe would be the closest downpipe to my set up.

did i read correct that a downpipe would cost somthing about 700$? i really cant understand how people are willing to pay this much. i built my last downpipe and that costed me about 30£

i was not stainless but who cares anyway. (stainless weight more )

I aint spending $700 on a downpipe! i am going to buy a xs power GT45 v band downpipe and modify that to fit my turbo or get an exhaust specialist to make me one.

I completely agree that downpipes etc are way overpriced. I m running an xs-power manifold, xs-power intercooler with a custom made downpipe for the last 3 years putting down 550whp on a Precision T61 and I have no problems whatsoever. However, I dont ever skimp on moving parts like turbo's etc.
