Posted January 24, 2012 Share Posted January 24, 2012 Can anyone help please my local garage who I have used for years fitted a new clutch kit on my n/a yesterday they bleed the clutch pedal today but won't go in gear,they lined old clutch up to new one and it's a perfect match so it's all a bit strange,any ideas what the problem is anyone!? Scott Posted January 24, 2012 Share Posted January 24, 2012 Is the clutch kit cheap? I think you can have issues like this when the release bearings are crap, I could be wrong though. I would try adjusting the clutch pedal push rod in a little to see if that helps with the issue. It shouldn't take a lot of adjusting though. If so then the pedal adjustment is normally the issue. I had an RPS clutch fitted years ago and the bite was literally on the floor, it would crunch when it was cold. 10 mins with the spanners and all was well. Posted January 24, 2012 Author Share Posted January 24, 2012 Yes it's aftermarket but no issues with who I bought it from,they said today it only had 3/4 on pedal so had to bleed as hydraulic so that was done but now won't go in any gear....hopefully they can sort it in morning!
