Wheel nut size

I don't know what others think but I wouldn't fit aluminium wheel nuts on my car, obviously the thread is more likely to get stripped on those than steel nuts and the weight saving would be minimal.

Funnily enough, I was looking at threads on wheel nuts last night, and that seemed to be the general thought of a lot of people on here.

I'll go for some nice steel nuts for mine. I like tough nuts.

i had light wheel nuts before, they were alu,

i woudnt recoment them, they were so soft, the threads stripped when you took them off once.

had to stop the car once as the back one had come undone,

get steel ones, wheel nuts are very important!

i had TPi wheel nuts, search them on ebay, only £30 quid and they were coloured :)

I agree, but I'm sure the Project Kics should be good. Alot of the yanks run them without issue. Got that pic from Supraforums.:)
