scunner
Ive been looking for a new set of alloys for my 98 VVTI TT for a while now as the Rays split rims I got with the car are requiring a refurb and Im not really a big fan of the style of them. Ive came across a set I quite fancy although Im not to sure if the widths will be too narrow? The wheels are: 18" 5X114 WITH A 8" ET30 FRONT AND 9" ET35 REAR. Im not to sure if I should be running with an 8.5" front and 9.5" rear? Anyone have any idea's?
DodgyRog
The width's will be fine and the rear offset is fine, but the front offset might be close My spare set are almost exactly those sizes, just the front is a 35 offset Hopefully someone should be able to confirm if the front 30 offset will work
scunner
Ive had a look at your spare set in the parts for sale section, their nice wheels just a bit too similar to my current ones unfortunetly.
DodgyRog
Yeah I meant it would give you the same fitment as mine

DodgyRog
Not sure to be honest, it's 5mm and it does not sound a lot, 5mm to much is enough to wreck a tyre and arch

Think I'd better check it out before I buy. Don't fancy some costly repairs!!
