Supra N_A Posted January 11, 2012 Share Posted January 11, 2012 (edited) well got the HKS silent hi power system for the supra today and it sounds sweet as a nut! not to loud or not to silent makes awesome grumble! also pop and bangs down the rev range love the look and quality of these fitment is also spot on! shineyyyyyyy also thought i would take another pic of the fully flocked dash inside the cabin i am affraid the pictures give no justice to how good the flocked dash looks like in the flesh looks super clean and mint!! quality to the finish is amazing also been done really well no shady joby there! Supra N_A Posted January 11, 2012 Author Share Posted January 11, 2012 yea jurgen always has really nice cars in there its heaven haha to get fully flocked defo £1000s also with mine the backs flocked,door cars,side panels on roof,boot and back seat bits on my n/a also had the "silent" in the exhaust system unless you have a older model no idea... its the stock(OEM) steering wheel is well neat! Don't think so fella, it was rather heavily modified but he stripped all the bits off when he sold the car. I still laugh at his 'arch rolling' that he did when it was supposed to be going widebody, I must admit that the repair work looks faultless though(it was nothing major he just tried folding them the wrong way basically . EDIT: When I say heavily modified, it wasn't single or anything but it had all the big brakes, RL traction control, carbon Cobra seats etc, etc It was a stunning car I can tell you that. I put alot of time effort and money into the car, and the base of which you still have just reverted back to OEM as I bought it originally (completely stock OEM). I always bought a Supra to tune it as a hobby, and after a year of trouble free motoring (when I actually drove it, as I always kept it garaged when wet and through the winter months) the journey of making into what I wanted began as I always wanted a big HKS Twin Turbo. Basically, I always wanted a 6 speed, but cost at the time and saving a few quid thinking of being sensible I bought as new a car in superb condition as I could, and rare too with the VVT-i and Tiptronic. Looked at lots of Supras at the time of purchase and nearly all of them were very ropey indeed, hence why I opted for a fresh import with me being the very first and only owner. I came to the conclusion that I was heading into the unknown with the car at the time as no one had really modified a VVT-i Auto before, and that coupled with my opinion that ultimately the automatic transmission would be a major issue too. I decided to sell, and buy a base car that has been proven to be easy to tune of the shelf so to speak. The car you now have will be superb at BPU level, very fast and very responsive, and a 6 speed will certainly struggle to match its pace due to the auto box. I hope that you have many years of happy motoring buddy, still a bit weird seeing pictures of the car that used to mine. I am glad that it's ended up in a good home, and with a fellow member too. Yes, I have lots of pictures of the car throughout my ownership. The engine was completely stock OEM when I bought it, and it remained that way in my ownership too. I was BPU'ing the car as the first set of modifications, and completing all the other upgrades to suit the improved level of performance too. I never actually completed the BPU, so the engine has never seen that level of tune. When I sold the car it had an uprated Walbro fuel pump, and NGK Iridium Performance spark plugs designed for BPU level can't remember the part code now. In my ownership of 2 years the following were carried out: - Service upon purchase including belts, and new tyres. M8 Speedo Conversion, and delimit. Rear reverse light converted to a fog light with dash switch. Private Plate purchase. 2 x services with Toyota OEM parts by myself (Silkolene Fully synethetic 0 to 40 watt oil used). 1 x set of iriduim Tough spark plugs, later changed for Iriduim Performance for BPU. Complete underseal and waxoyl back to the diff area, never completed the very back. Carpet removed and professionally cleaned. Focal rear speakers installed. Complete dynomat install back to front everywhere. Complete interior was flocked. Brand new NGK's BPU Plugs were installed. Brand new Walbro was installed. Brand new OEM panel filter installed just before sale. Brand new battery. Lots of other parts went on the car and came back off again, as I decided that I had started with the wrong vehicle for my ultimate goal.
