Ignition barrel light and door key lock light staying lit

Evening

Went out to start the car this morning and the battery was almost dead. The ignition lit but not enough to start. I gave it a jump and all was good but I was stumped as to how the battery had died after only a few days. I just noticed with it now being dark that the ignition barrel and the door key lock green lights are on even when it is locked.

I saw Homer's post http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?166800-Door-open-light-and-ignition-light-on-all-the-time and this is the same problem but its not the door close sensor since the light above the centre console for a door being open goes out when I push the button or close the door. The other suggestion in the thread by Kev.O was there could be a shortand something could be grounding.

Any suggestions on where to start and is there a fuse I could remove to save the battery in the meantime?

Thanks guys

All good guys, I pulled the 7.5A fuse beside the radio fuse and it cut interior lights and the ignition barrel / door keyhole lights. After having it out for 2 days I thought I'd put it back in and it works again just like it should! :-D

Just thought I'd post this up incase anyone else gets a similar problem.
