hi, any help would be greatly appreciated, 1993 supra na

Had a pipe burst on me the other day, the pipe at the rear top of the engine which links into a H shaped metal pipe system, i fixed this pipe with a new pipe and haven't really driven the car much over xmas until i went back to work yesterday,

Then yesterday about half way to work (bout 10 mins) the engine suddenly started misfiring and got worse to the point where all the power had gone and it was struggling to move away, then it went and came back, went and came back and after about 5 minutes it went completely normal so i assumed it might have been water in the plug holes and it had cleared out, but then on the way home it did it again bout half way home and then the same today both on way to and from work,

i had my plugs all changed about 2 months ago,

2 new leads and others tested fine,

all compression test fine

i checked my water levels and all seem fine so not loosing water i don't think,

it only seems to happen for a few minutes not as soon as the car has warmed up as that only takes a couple of minutes but around 10 mins after driving it

any ideas on what might be up with the supra or where to start?

Hi chris, yeah im starting to agree as i had the rear piPe burst and just thought it would evapourate out but remembering what it was like last time water was in at urs, this time it was only intermitant but just been to footy and it was identical so will strip down on weekend, ow btw i fitted new rad, went back to original air box and in the end got another throttle body and swaped them over and my supra was purring lovely, well until this happened n e ways, Thanks again for the work you did and advice you gave, Tom

How much would it be for 2 pistons and new seals delivered, ive ordered 2 rear calipers but if its cheap enough to fix mine. Ill fix and sell mine? And how much would 2 rear disc set me back, mine have hardly any wear but due to uneven wear im considering replacing? With new pads on they should just evenly wear back shouldnt they?
