Tee from China
Found this very sad Supra whose owner has definitely lost the plot! In the search for a bigger turbo caused him to loose sight of reality! Looks like a well pregnant bonnet bump! Hasn't even bothered to use the original engine either and drop in a 4 pot instead! johnny g
I believe that's the 4WD Russian one with the 4.5L I6 engine in from the Landcruiser Amazon (1FZ?) It'd not be sad when you put your foot down
Guest rwd
that is not sad at all! any idea on what sort of power that car has @ tee from china?

sdistc
Yes, as Johnny says, this is the crazy Russian build - 98mm turbo on the side of the 1FZ, with a retrofitted AWD system. The thread is http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?545570-AWD-Supra-with-1FZ-and-98mm-turbo-is-almost-ready... on SF.com
sdistc
As I recall, they were also building a dual VVTi head. Which also has disappeared into the night, sadly.
Kirk
It would of been quite an expensive feet to try and do dual VVTI on a head designed for single use only. Hell the only way of doing it would of been a total brand new casting.
sdistc
Not sure, Martin.. I don't like telling Russians "no, you can't"

Tee from China
so a six not a four but still begs the question - WHY? with so much good stuff around for the 2JZ why bother making a nice car plain ugly by doing that?
