Interior light bulb and number plate bulbs

Again, not sure about interior bulbs, I'd guess a festoon bulb but you're best off just popping it out and checking!?

I've just upgraded my number plate lights to CREE 501 bulbs from Lightec Autostyle. Top company to deal with and the CREEs are super bright and look great. Also did my sidelights too.

I'm running some SMD LED's I've got off eBay. Never had any problems been in the supe for about 2 months and been on the other car 3 years lol.

Will try and find the link for you

Well, I have a bulb gone in the interior light, and was thinking of upgrading them to LEDs too.

I know that sidelights and numberplate lights are possibly 501s, but not sure about the interior lights. If the same, I'll buy 6 of them and just replace as necessary. :)

The Sidelight and numberplate lights are definitely 501's, the interior light panel just unclips with a flat blade screwdriver. My interior lights are definitely bayonet caps. Hope that helps! :)

So, 501s all round and for interior, then? :)

My interior lights were definitley the bayonet cap type Andrew, the plastic cover just pops off. Not sure if it's any different between facelift and non facelift cars though as to the type of bulbs in the interior light. These are what I now have fited in mine - ebay item number 140615448859. Hope that helps!

Yes, that did help, and thank you.

I've spent the last 30 minutes fitting all the new bulbs, and all work fine except one interior light bulb. The bulb is fine, as I checked it on the other side, but why wouldn't a light work, if all alright on the other side?

Will I have to take the interior light gubbins out to see if there's a loose wire, or something?

I think LED bulbs are "handed", try taking it out, twist the bulb 180 degrees and fit it in again, if that makes sense...
