DXF CNC Machinists Help Required Please

Hi All,

I recently had some GS300 wheels refurbed but the centre caps are the Lexus logo'd ones and in very poor condition. My original plan was to have the Lexus logos welded up then diamond cut to match the wheels giving a plain finish. It turns out this isnt possble so im going to have some centre caps made from scratch but with the Supra logo machined into them.

Having chatted with the machine shop guy this morning, he said this is no problem but it will be around 8 hours of programming time just for the logo. This makes the whole job seriously expensive.

He has suggested that if i can find a copy in DXF format of the logo which someone has already done, this will make the whole job much cheaper and easier.

Therefore if any of you guys out there have machined this logo at about 100mm wide before in a DXF format, i would be really grateful to get a copy of the programming. I know its a long shot, but any help would be greatly appreciated. If i can get one set of these made for myself, then theres no reason why more sets could be made for anyone that wants some.

Alternatively if anyone knows where i can get some that are availabe anyway, please let me know.

Thanks:search:

Hi mate, that would be awesome. The logo im after is the standard badge type from the boot lid but around 100mm in width. The program i would need would be for a solid cut out rather than just the outline, and about 1mm deep.

Please let me know if you do need a pic and i will try to find one on the net

Cheers
