FCD- Fuel cut defender review

hey, is anybody running a turboSmart fuel cut defender, ive only heard good things about them. The two different types

manual and electronic, price difference is about 50quid. give or take website.

Is anybody running the Manual one? if so what are they like and any problems? Price £62.82.

its for a 1jz soarer engine BPU , (in a supra) :)

The only way I can see that the manual one could work is that there is a ball and spring under adjustable tension arrangement, like some manual boost adjusters have, and when a pre-determined level of pressure is met at the ball, the ball lets the excess pressure escape to atmosphere. Now that could be wrong, but I cant see how it would work otherwise. If that is how it works, I wouldnt feel happy about using it, think it would leave too much to chance. That's just my opinion.
