Caliper colours ?

Ok guys and gals im going to be painting my calipers over the winter and usure which colour to go for

Purple

Black

Gunmetal silver

EDIT- out of the three options you have listed i would go gunmetal

white:cool: with black supra logo's

I've also got to make this decision and my supes white also. I painted them red a few weeks back but i dont like the look. Might be because of my alloys though. Halfrauds do a copper colour Hamerite that might look good?

Def not red

White might look nice but hell to keep clean

I want/need to do mine (and also refurb the calipers) before getting my new wheels.

I'd say gun metal grey for yours

I'm just in the process of re-painting mine, they were red, they are going to be gun metal grey (actually silver hammerite with a tint of black added).

Gunmetal would be the better than purple or black.

White, with a good lacquer over the top

Black.... only choosing that to be different to Scott M though

Yo bro,just had a brain wave!!! take a close picture of your front wheel,then play about with photo shop,or something like it.If you cant do it,i am sure there is a computa nerd out there who can. this way you can colur your calipers & see before you paint.Hope this is all very clear. Are you spray painting them in hammerite? I tried to paint mine a few weeks back with a brush but they looked crap and I had to strip the paint back off.

Did you use the smooth stuff? You need to make sure they are well degreased as no paint will like brake fluid. I've never had any issues using hammerite at all.

I'd powder coat them gloss black and have a good look at the seals too

unless they've been replaced

Mine are the same as yours Dunk, I like the burnt orange colour that Nissan use on the 350Z Brembos too...

The pair in the pics are ones i refurbed for Samuraiflash, complete strip, split into 2,

chemi dipped and then powder coated and rebuilt.

It was the smooth stuff. I might not have degreased them enough to be honest, or I may just have expected them to look like dnk's powder coated ones which they didn't.

im getting them done properly and lackered. they are uk ones in exelent condition so no need to refurb
