Tom S Posted September 30, 2011 Share Posted September 30, 2011 Hi Peeps, took my Supra to Germany yesterday. Left NE at 4pm, drove to MK, no problems, drove to Dover no problems, drove through, Holland, Belgium and into Holland then a major over heat. So my Supra is in Holland, I am in Adeneau and looks like "Hopefully" fingers crossed, it will be sorted by Tuesday or it will be a terminal return. No a happy man right now !! The recovery chap identified the 1st problem as a broken thermostat. When he hit it with the hammer to force it open and make it stay open the car warmed up and the heating stayed fine. But as part of the recovery service they will not let me drive the car until it has been diagnostically tested. So I have to wait until Monday for that report and then most probably go back to Holland to collect the car from the Toyota/Lexus dealership where it is located. Approx 160 miles from here in a place called Sittard.. More to follow Today I should get a hire car from the recovery company so watch this space..
