Scorling- Bodykit fit and repaint

Steven aka scorling on here dropped his TT jspec supra off for a bodykit and full repaint in stock red.

The kit combination looks good on paper- All supplied by knight-racer, interested to see fitment as i never used them before on a build.

ridox front bumper

ridox sideskirts

trial rear

half carbon trd spoiler (carbon blade)

The car itself is in good shape but like so many red its faded really really bad and alot of the panels look dull and pinky. The car is also going to have all the calipers freshly painted in red and going to carry out a mini service for steven.

I have mentioned doing the underneath of the trial rear in shiney black and the lower part of the ridox skirts and bumper also in shiney black, he is happy with what i said and i think its going to look very nice once completed.

Needs Ibrar to refurb his work equips :D and get some new headlights

That's amazing, I only left the car at Rob's this morning and it's already been sprayed a Lambourghini orange and it looks as if he has made a start on the engine. Good work!

I have had the car three years and have always been embarrassed by the bodywork and wheels, although I think the mechanics are sound. I only drive it at night for fear that another club member might see it and I either get expelled from the club or the car is taken off me.

As Rob says, wheels next and then I will have to change the habits of a lifetime and start cleaning it!

was the kit very thin and flimsy? im interested to see the fitment as i nearly ordered this kit for the silver tt i had.

Not the best fibre glassing in the world and a bit of filler here and there but as it was me fitting and spraying it I wasn't worried. They also cocked up on there web site and discounted the kit by £400.

Everything off the car now. Test fitted the kit, front bumper dont fit too good- needs alot of work and rear bumper needs very little work but to be honest the kit overall is very good.. so i would recommend knight-racer and would use them again as this is our first time.

anyway sideskirts are nearly fully fitted and we are going to smooth them into the door sills (bit of a trade mark now), rear bumper was test fitted and the front can wait another day :)

couple of pics but ill get some better ones when i have finished both skirts.

Front bumper is nearly complete, spent all morning and prob more time this afternoon messing around getting it to fit perfect. All the lines around the headlights and along the wings are looking really nice and the car has started to take shape.

I love the ridox kit, stock looking but with attitude :D

Great work Rob, what was wrong with the Ridox bumper then?

I am thinking of ordering this bumper from Knight-racer myself, but if its too much of a hassle to get it fitted then I wont bother.

just needs a bit of tinkering to get it bolted correctly and needs some shaving. I would recommend buying from them though, overal is very good.

Just wondering if the rear needed much work fitting? looks real nice and am thinking about getting the same one. But just had a

respray and can't go without the car for weeks again.. Lol

We only plonked it on to test fit but it will need work to get it spot on perfect. cant see there being drama's with it though. again its a good base fit product.
