Brakes

So much as I want to do everything to my Sup myself, I decided that brakes were one of those safety things I should really not take the risk on, so I got a quote from a place in Leeds which is meant to be a Japanese Import Specialist...

£150 to fix the squeaking brakes sound ok? I believe they're going to be fitting new discs and pads on the front for that price too.

Also on a sidenote, anyone had any experience with Rising Sun Motors?

They wont be using o/e Toyota parts for that money, if i were you i'd ask the garage what they

intend to do and fit so you know exactly what your getting for your £150.

Changing front discs and pads is an hours work max, half an hour really but not many garages

will charge for less than an hour for doing anything mechanical.

UK spec discs are approx £75 each and the front pads will be around £50 for both front

calipers.

Im not sure about the price for the smaller brakes (2 piston fronts) but they'll be similar

to the 4 pot UK set up
