I came across this site

http://www.turbofast.com.au/lexusturbo.html

I wondered whether anyone has had this done on their car.

Really it should be called a Parallel Twin conversion, but, it has been done.

Daz Payne on this BBS has done it to his. It is a heck of alot of work for not much gain, but deffo kudos to anyone who can.

I think Daz's web site is www.dazzspeed.co.uk - someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I have it on my second Supra that i have just aquired, it has a dash mounted switch to flip between sequencial and parallel mode. Works well , but nowhere near as nice as my big single!
Also has a 3500 high stall TC which will be transfered to the other car very soon!

Charlie - this conversion is not the ETTC mod but a permanent welded solution that removes the stock wastegates and replaces them with an external one.

Thanks Alex, i didn't know that.
Its a nice mod and pulls well for Hybrids, Did a 12.1 Quarter mile using this, but seems soooo slow compared to my single! Can't wait to swap TC's !!

Again not the welded version with replaced wastegate, but the turbos can be set up to run parallel in less than 5 minutes using these instructions (http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/articles/andy.htm)

I was running this for a couple of weeks, but the neigbhours were starting to raise their eyebrows at the vastly increased noise at lower revs
