hi guys im lee iv got a twin turbo rz 95 i want to dye the carpet black and the head liner has any1 dne this n if so whats the best

way to do this all ideas wd be a great help to me also whens the next supra meet thanks

Not too sure if you can do the headlining, might jujst be worth seeing if someone has a spare black one.

The carpet Dying has been done a lot, but as said above not sure about the headlining, I guess you could try it, if it doesn't turn out well then contact Keron or hunt around here for a Black one

I believe you can buy the black head linnings, I remember Rob got one off eBay for around £20.

That is just about the worst Supra job to pay someone to do and could cost you an arm, a leg and a couple of ribs.

Link the 2 heater pipes before they go through the bulkhead and you will be good to go for now.

Just dont go out in the winter unless you wear a wolly hat , mittens and keep a can of deicer to spray the inside

That sounds like the description of a Demisterman matrix.

Got my new matrix from demisterman for a reasonable price. I think it was about 80 quid. The best quote I had for labour to change it was about 600 quid. I changed it myself in one weekend. There's a really good guide on this forum, search for change heater matrix. It's a ba**ard if a job. My biggest tip would be to label everything, and don't force any of the plastic clips on the dash.

Whilst 'in there' upgrading my dash loom, I fitted a new Demisterman matrix, just in case.

It fits perfectly but only has 14 rows instead of the OE 24.

You need woolly socks on during the winter.

with the wet carpet will it be the matrix ir could it just be the the hoes perished can just the hoeses be renewed thanks

There are no hoses inside the car, just the matrix.

There is an outside chance the drip pipe has come off the air con, sniffing the wet patch will tell you which.

thats sounds rite the carpet been dryed but still damp but i was lossing water till i bypassed the hoeses gunna change it anyways as iv had all the steam coming out the vents have you had this problem before
