Depends what the bearing in the tensioner is like dude, if in doubt change it, hours wise depends who is doing it, I can change belts on my race car in 10 mins and front seal in 15 !!!! depends if the pulley comes off easy or not and what tools etc you have

Is it necessesary to fit tensioner kit as well as cambelt,iv'e been quoted £48 for belt and £93 with tensioner kit,also how long for labour,4 hours or more,anyone know?cheers

 

 

£48 for a timing belt?? :blink:

 

When you go back in tell them to take their balaclavas off so that you can look them in the eye while they shaft you :D
