how much gearbox oil

sorry I thought you said 8.9 litres :) is it really that much that's crazy and means I need another bottle now. that's lot

 

Yeah, maybe 8.2 as stated on that post - i just had a gearbox fitted, with oil in it, and it still took another 6 litres just to "top up"!!

Just make sure you fill it, then drive it for 5 mins, then check it. Then while idling, gently run the shifter from P all the way down to L, and back up again slecting every gear slowly, then re-check the level. Keep doing that until the level is good after running through all gears and temps have got up a bit :)

ok thanks mate I think I gonna have to rob barclayS again on the way home its bad enough every time I need petrol. why are these cars addictive tho I mean before if I spent money on a car I had to get rid
