Bumper mesh fixings

I bought a length of aluminium angle strip, 25 mm x 25 mm by 1 metre long, i cut this into 25 mm lengths

 

Drill an 8 mm diameter hole in one side and then bond the other to the inside of the bumper with tiger seal or similar.

 

Then cable tie the mesh through the hole, i used approx 6 top and bottom, its been

perfect for a few years now

 

Heres a bit of a poor sketch to explain what i did and the end result showing you cant see the fixings + you dont

damage the bumper and the mesh is easily removed

You can get metal ones, I thing Raceparts UK stock those. If the surfaces are not clinically clean and warm, they don't stick. I use them all the time, and the secret is cleanliness and warmth. The metal ones are slightly slimmer. They can also be neatly rivetted on.
