Will These Wheels Fit My Supra? And What Tyre Size Do I Need Please?

Ok. I think I'm settled on the BK993 Wheels

Will 19" x 8 ET42 for the front and 19 x 9.5 ET45 for the rears 114mm Stud Diameter be ok?

If so what tyres size will I need? ATM I have 235-45-17 fronts and 265-40-17 at the rears. ET35 F&R

I like the width my 17" wheels but with 19" wheels they will need to be a lower profile and I don't really understand working out what profile with a thicker tyre on the rear will work out with a thinner tyre at the front to make it look even.

Advice please :) So I can get them ordered

Have you used a tyre calculator to make sure they wont knock your speedo out by a country mile?

I haven't mate.. Are they on the net?

i have BK alloys and word of warning they are not the best quality!

I had BK's on my 1st car and they seemed ok. What issues have you had mate?

I've posted a tyre size fitting chart quite a few times now but once more wont hurt

Wheel and Tyre sizes

Here is a usefull guide along with a tyre calculator

You should use the tyre calculator to get the correct profile to keep the rolling radius as close to o/e

as possible.

http://www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator.htm

Rim width---Min tyre width----Ideal tyre width-------Max tyre width

7.0 inches-----195 mm--------205 or 215 mm-----------225 mm

7.5 inches-----205 mm--------215 or 225 mm-----------235 mm

8.0 inches-----215 mm--------225 or 235 mm-----------245 mm

8.5 inches-----225 mm--------235 or 245 mm-----------255 mm

9,0 inches-----235 mm--------245 or 255 mm-----------265 mm

9.5 inches-----245 mm--------255 or 265 mm-----------275 mm

10.0 inches----255 mm--------265 or 275 mm-----------285 mm

10.5 inches----265 mm--------275 or 285 mm-----------295 mm

11.0 inches----275 mm--------285 or 295 mm-----------305 mm

11.5 inches----285 mm--------295 or 305 mm-----------315 mm

12.0 inches----295 mm--------305 or 315 mm-----------325 mm

12.5 inches----305 mm--------315 or 325 mm-----------335 mm

you want 255/30/19 which will be exactly the same RR on the rear

and 235/35/19 on the front which will + 0.6%

That's the exact size for the front I was looking at.

I was more on the idea of 265/30/19 on the rear. That should be ok shouldn't it? And then its the exact same profile look as the front

Thanks DNK.. The tyre sizes will fit nicely

Now how about these offsets? How do they sound?

They are pretty much stock offset, they are the same width and virtually the same height so I can't see there being a problem. Ripped fear what tyre size, wheel size and offset combo are your running Same as listed above?

I would have thought you might have to get the arches rolled for that but the only way to find out is to test fit them

mine are 17" Bk's running 235/45zR17+ 225/45zR17 but all is well as new set up should be on its way soon, they look ok but are far to narrow, and sit way in the arch's
