Hi

I'm wanting to change mine as I've never done it and wondered if anyone on here has, also where did you purchase it from?

I've looked online and on Supraforums or in America they seem to be about $3 I've just called toyota and they want £23! Knowing you can get stuff delivered within a few days from the states I'm wondering wether to purchase them from there, unless anyone knows of an OEM alternative?

I got mine from Toyota a while back and it was around £20, be Careful when pulling the old rubber gromit out as mine fell apart due to going hard and fell back into the housing and was a pain to get back out.

All PCV valves operate in much the same way, if, by any chance, you can find another that fits the grommet tightly and allows the hose to go on tightly, etcetera will work fine. Is it worth the hassle though? I tend to bin them as I do not like my engine breathing its own fumes and I prefer to add to the pollution level :)

Thanks guys,

Its probably not worth the hassle, just when you can get them readily available in USA for $1.49 for the valve and slightly less for the grommet, it annoys me having to pay the discounted Toyota UK price of £35 for the pair! I was just wondering if anyone else had a OEM/3rd party equivalent that was cheaper and more readily available as Toyota said they will take 3 days to get in!
