its the other side of the atlantic. so we wouldnt realy know :p

it all depends how much damage it has you cant see. Mine had very similar damage although that looks worse. and the parts have cost me arround 1£000. and ontop of that probably another £2000. getting it strait. welding in the pannels. painting the pannels etc. there is a lot of delicate things back there that could be damaged that i have not had to replace. my radiator and bonnet and 1 wing were salvagable. however i neede prety much everything infront of the radiator. id guess to repair that over here your looking at over £4000 if you get all the parts 2nd hand. which you cant always as a lot of them are always damaged.

for an na... if that was over here its simply not worth it.

It depends what it would be worth when finished. If it's worth for example 15k when finished and costs you 5k to buy as it is and 8k to repair it might be worth doing. But things always end up costing you more than you think. And your still driving arround in a crash repaired car.

In the uk if your buying something like the one your talking about it's classified as been repaired from a total loss on the paperwork. So the final value of the car nosedives.

Only reason I'm repairing mine is I didn't put in an insurance claim. So it didn't get recorded so can be repaired without the above happening.

well that vehicle would be in my garage while i continue driving my honda civic. And i dont think anyone is really going to bid on it so i can see it costing me 1000 CAD. Just transporting it from the states to canada would be brutal...Plus i have never done this so i dont know where to start.
