Uprated fuel pumps

Only the Yanks could think a good way to up fuel pump flow at X PSI is to ram more volts through it :) I'll be sticking with an 044 or their Motorsport hand selected ones for "special" engines.

I wouldn't be upping the voltage personally, I was more impressed with the 800hp worth of flow at the normal operating voltage.

Especially compared with the shipped price to the UK :)

To get 800 BHP worth of flow at 13.8 volts, (an bear in mind any voltage drop will cause a very big flow drop) you would need huge injectors as they only produce good flow at relatively low pressures. Add boost pressure to rail pressure, and the needs for pretty high rail pressures for reasonably sized injectors needed for good idle and economy, then this means they are not that good. You have to look at flow at X pressure and Y voltage to give a comparison. Typically the Yanks have massaged the figures look good. All fur coat an no knickers I'm afraid.
