mellonman Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 im abit gutted i think my coil packs are on the way out but its strange. the other week started the car went up the road (not warmed up) and it seem to hold back and not really want to go anywhere i stopped at a shop 2 minutes away then started the car again and it seemed fine. and has been fine since. yesturday started up seemed not quite right again drove for 5 minutes then blasted away from some lights hestitaed and missed up untill 4000 rpm them wack shot away like it had a rocket up its bottom. seems intermitant but getting worse does this sound like coil packs? i have done the clips and plugs are not that old maybe 1000 miles max i can get a set of vvti coil packs to test fault but are they the same? I remember there being something mentioned about the vvti coil packs, I just can't remember if it was about them being different or not. Good luck.
