Looking for a supra (advice needed)

I have been looking around for a UK TT spec Supe and I was just wondering if any body could give me any advice on what to watch out for when looking/buying a Supra as this is new terrority for me.

Yeah the FAQ section will give you a good idea of the questions most people that are new to supras look out for.

Also the differences between UK-spec and J-spec are listed in the 'imports' menu at the top of the web page.

 

But when looking for one it just like most other cars really, keep checking websites like Autotrader etc. Also visit this web page as often as you can and look out for any of us guys wanting to sell their Supra on.

 

When actually going to test drive a Supra TT most important thing to look out for is excessive turbo whistling and/or smoke out of the exhaust when you lift off the accelerator. This would be signs of turbo damage or oil leakage through turbos.

 

Also for a UK-spec make sure you have all the service history and receipts. That is one of the benefits of getting a UK-spec, you can properly trace the history of the vehicle.
