Heyrick Posted July 26, 2011 Share Posted July 26, 2011 Hi, Due to some tint being scraped off by a previous owner my rear screen demister doesn't work. I may be able to get hold of a replacement but was wondering if anyone has any experience of swapping them? They aren't bonded like the windscreen are they? Would I need new rubbers etc.? ZippyTT Posted July 27, 2011 Share Posted July 27, 2011 They are bonded. Will need to be cut out, and a new seal that runs around the outside will probably be needed (about £60 from toyota). Good time to check that there is no rust forming around the lip. I couldn't see any but when I had my screen out it was starting under the screen.
