Should there be a stock amp under the passenger seat with my GZ? I found a hole and a connector down there but no amp box.

Sound like a lucky thing to me... But then, not everyones into their audio.
You can either get an amp from someone on here, (there must be some kicking around). I don't know if the UK spec will fit/plug in but I don't think a non-sub equipped J-spec car would have the same amp. - Best ask for a GZ one, please don't ask me how to tell the difference, I don't know.

Or

Get a new head unit which will bet better than the standard one anyway. - I can help you there if you need me to.

I will have a look to see if I still have mine! I have a big boot build, so am not using the one under the passenger seat, if it still exists, we can work something out.

I also have the stock sub if anyone is interested!

Justin - You can have the stock amp out of my j-spec if you like, I'll not be using it soon as I've put a couple of Kenwood jobbies in the boot.
