I have arranged some karting with a local kart track in Northampton.

It is at Whilton Mill http://www.whiltonmill.co.uk.

This will be a 15 minute session for 5 or 6 karts. No heats, no trophies, just a chance to drive a kart round a track with a hangover. We have 4 sessions booked so a maximum of 20 people for this.

Tickets available in the shop now.

They also do quad bikes and buggies and stuff for while you are waiting at an additional cost.

all confirmed, we have the place from 10.30am for an hour split in to 15 minute slots, 5 cars per slot.

So maximum of 20 people, but if we come up short I know I will do 2 sessions.

I will work out how we collect the money shortly. But it is £15 for 15 minutes.

Great outdoor circuit this.

I would have been up for at least 2 15 minute sessions but have to get back up North as it is the dragons (mother in law) birthday on the Sunday.

Unless the layout has changed the secret is full throttle down the hill onto the start / finish straight and then keep it pinned until you get to the top of the hill again. Its a bit of a leap of faith at first but try it!
