Mot failed on leaky stock shocks, so I thought id get a free upgrade in the process.. :)

So spent today swapping out the old and in with the purple D2 shocks..

Not been for a drive yet, and I've left the hight exactly the same.. yes I'm boring.. :p

Anyway read a guide on here about disconnectting the droplinks...?

Why? I just unbolted the top and bottoms and manovered the shocks out avoiding them through the use of springcompressors and a long bar.. seemed like a lot of work to undo 15 year old droplinks that had fused together and a hex key just rounded the ends of them.

Seemed simple to just go around them, job well done and finished with a kfc, took me and a friend 6 hours, we've done suspension before but not on a supra, fixed my leaky exhaust as well, so good to go now..

Gonna book an mot on Monday and when it passes does anyone recommend any north west detailers, I want a really good job doing.. :))

If you dont mind traveling a bit for a detailer then their is a company in farnworth near Bolton called OCD and from what i have seen of his work its damn good.

However i would still just take my car all the way down to Stonkins place.
